This may be okay when you are still with your partner but when it breaks up there will be a lot of trouble for you when you come out of it. You will end up with no friends, no partner and definitely no social life. Make time for your friends during your relationship. It is ok to get love drunk but it is important that you incorporate your friends into this as well as providing time to hang out with them.
Do the things you have always done before with them. Don't be afraid to go out with your friends on nights out, or be afraid to enjoy yourself. Encourage your partner to do the same because you both want an active social life.
One where you can incorporate each other and another social life where you can spend time apart. A healthy relationship consists of a healthy balance between being able to spend time together and loving each other and also allowing each other to remain independent.
In the early stages of the relationship, it can be hard to leave each other alone. This is acceptable to most friends, but if it goes on for too long then it can mean your friends will become despondent and impatient. Don't forget your friends and they won't forget you. You can have the best of both worlds, be love drunk as well as being able to have all the friends you need.
Life is what you make it and if you are able to incorporate your friends into your life with your new love you will be as happy as can be. Neglect your friends and your life will slowly fall apart if your relationship fails. Your friends are what you are, they know everything about you, and they have been there for you throughout your life. You owe it to them to keep them there and enjoy your time together.
