The Process of Becoming Righteous
Step | Key verse | Significant point |
1. Meet God (Isaiah 6:1-4) | "I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted" (1) | When we meet God, we become acquainted with His righteous standards. |
2. Saw his true self (Isaiah 6:5) | "Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts." ( 5) | An awareness of God's righteous standard reveals ones own sins. Upon acknowledging his unrighteousness, he seeks a covering from God's judgment. |
3. Found cleansing (Isaiah 6:6-7) | "And he touched my mouth with it and said, "Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin is forgiven." ( 7) | He finds a solution of his greivous sin by accepting God's gracious offer of forgiveness. |
Saw It???
Want a closer look??? (Haha... Maybe next time....)
(Jz guess wat is it....)
What a wonderous time is spring,
When all the tress are budding
The birds begin to sing, the flowers start their blooming;
That's how it is with God's love,
Once you've experienced it.
You want to sing, it's fresh like spring,
You want to pass it on.
I wish for you my friend
This happiness that I've found;
You can depend on God
It matters not where you're bound,
I'll shout it from the mountain top - PRAISE GOD!
I want the world to know
The Lord of love has come to me
I want to pass it on.
I'll shout it from the mountain top - PRAISE GOD!
I want the world to know
The Lord of love has come to me
I want to pass it on.
Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world -- the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does -- comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
1 John 2:15-17 (NIV)
